Mayor Ken Ladner will discuss how the Silver City Rotary Club and the Town of Silver City can work together for the betterment of the community at the July 23 Rotary meeting.

Members of the public are always invited to attend Rotary Club meetings that are of interest to them. 

The Silver City Rotary Club meets every Tuesday for lunch in the Sunset Room of the WNMU Student Cafeteria in the WNMU Student Memorial Building at 1000 College Avenue.  There is no charge to attend the meeting, but guests are asked to contribute $10 if they wish to join the Rotarians in eating a hot lunch with salad, dessert, and coffee or iced tea.  Lunch begins at 12:15 p.m., the presentation starts at 12:30 p.m. and ends at 1 p.m.

Rotary is an organization of business and other professional persons united worldwide to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.  Rotary is the world’s oldest and largest service organization with more then 1.2 million members in more than 168 countries. Since its founding in 1923, the Silver City Rotary Club has provided support and service to numerous local civic activities and organizations.
