Quemado, NM, September 18, 2019--The Gila National Forest, Quemado Ranger District will be closing the Pinyon Campground, located In the Quemado Lake Recreation Area will be closing for the season on Friday, September 20, 2019 at 8:00 a.m.

The Juniper Campground, also located In the Quemado Lake Recreation Area, will be open through September 30, and then closing for the season. Reminder: Potable and non-potable water Is not available at the Juniper Campground, so campers are encouraged to come prepared. A campground host will remain onsite to answer questions until the end of the season.

Once these campgrounds are closed, the campgrounds at El Caso will remain open. For questions, please call the Quemado Ranger District at 575-773-4578.
