Light Art Space is pleased to feature the work of Brazilian artist João Galera. João is the first Silver City and WNMU Artist in Residence. He arrived in Silver City in June, 2019. He is a multi-artist, who does drawing, painting, collage and sewing, but it is the act of drawing that makes him forget time. He is currently exploring the theme of personal and collective memory for his creations. In this exhibition he will present drawings and tapestries.
