With the close of fiscal year 2011-12, the Mimbres Region Arts Council will be holding its annual meeting on August 23rd at 5:30 P.M. at the Seedboat Center for the Arts, 214 W Yankie Street. Members and other individuals interested in the Arts Council and its mission are welcome to attend.

According to Board President Blake Farley, the MRAC will be unveiling its new Season-at-a-Glance brochure, introducing the 2012-13 programs.

Director Faye McCalmont added, “This has been a successful season with many unique performances, sold out programs, and record outreach to young people. We look forward to sharing the outcomes at our Annual Meeting.” New board members and officers will also be introduced.

Special guests will be Dr. Joe Shepard, Bayou Seco, and Willie Wonka. Baxtalo Beng will provide entertainment. Refreshments will be catered by Marcia Smith.
