410 West 10th Street (Ritch Hall on the WNMU Campus)

Attending the Internship Showcase is a great way to learn about Aldo Leopold Charter School and about educational programs that prepare students for future careers. Students have worked with Youth Conservation Corps (YCC): eco-monitoring, mural, garden, and trail crews. Other students have learned skills by working with professionals in careers such as the Silver City Public Library, Future Forge maker space, art, food service, welding, pet care, KURU Radio, Upper Gila Watershed Alliance, and leadership. All interns will give presentations about their internships or YCC experiences.

ALCS is a tuition-free public school offering grades 6-12 to all residents of New Mexico.

This event is free and open to the public.
