GLENWOOD, NM, April 27, 2023 – The Glenwood Ranger District will be closed on Monday, May 1 due to unavailability of staff to cover the front desk.

“Customer service is important to us. Unfortunately, one consequence of having a small staff like ours at Glenwood is that we often don’t have backup to cover the front desk when our regular staff are unavailable,” said Acting Glenwood District Ranger Sandy Taylor. “We regret any inconvenience to our visitors.”

Doors will reopen at the Glenwood District on Tuesday, May 2. In the meantime, visitors in need of assistance may call or visit the Silver City Ranger District at 575-388-8201, located at 3005 Camino del Bosque in Silver City, or the Reserve Ranger District at 575-533-6232, located at 5 Smokey Bear Circle in Reserve.
