theresavillaTheresa Villa will be the Rotary speaker on July 11, 2023. Villa's topic will be: "The Summerfest Event for the Cobre School District." Villa will also speak of her job as the new Coordinator of Family Engagement, in which she oversees the Summerfest Event. Villa says "the event is in its second year, and has doubled in size. The purpose of the event is to provide backpacks and school supplies for any Grant County student who attends the event." Biographical information provided by Ms. Villa indicates that she is a native of Grant County and that she feels very close to the community.

The Rotary meeting will be held at the Silver Bowling Center, Ten Pin Lounge at 2020 Memory Lane, Silver City from 12-1 p.m. The meeting is free and open to the public. If you desire lunch, order from the menu in the cafeteria and it will be delivered to your table.
