NHDSome of the 19 Silver High students who qualified for the National History Day competition held at the University of Maryland on June 3, 2023, will be the Rotary speakers on August 8, 2023. Their two counselors, Claudie Thompson and Lee Wilson will also be present.

The students will report on the projects they presented and also tell of some of the places they visited in the Washington, D.C. area.

The venue will be the Silver Bowling Center, Ten Pin Lounge, 2020 Memory Lane, Silver City, from 12-1 p.m. The meeting is free and open to the public. If lunch is desired, please order and pay at the café counter and your order will be delivered to your table.
