Donna Stevens. Executive Director of the Upper Gila Watershed Alliance (UGWA), and Scott Zager, Plant Ecologist and Botanist, will be the Rotary speakers on September 19, 2023. Their Topic: “How the UGWA works with the Gila National Forest Service.”

According to Stevens, the goal of the UGWA Citizen Science Project is to “support the GNF staff by providing information to help them protect healthy forests, streams, and wildlife habitat.”

The venue will be the Silver Bowling Center, Ten Pin Lounge, 2020 Memory Lane, Silver City, from 12-1 p.m. The meeting is free and open to the public. If lunch is desired, please order and pay at the café counter and your order will be delivered to your table.
