PreslerTTed Presler will be the Rotary speaker on October 3, 2023. Presler’s topic will be: “Southwest Word Fiesta Updates and Information.”  Presler was an early member of the Festival of the Written Word (now Southwest Word Fiesta), served as co-chair in 2020-2021, and continues to be an active member. The Fiesta was created to celebrate authors who live and work in the Southwest, and will be held at the Murray Hotel, 7-8 p.m. with John Burnett, retired correspondent for NPR as the keynote speaker.

The Rotary meeting will be held at the Silver Bowling Center, Ten Pin Lounge at 2020 Memory Lane, Silver City from 12-1 p.m. The meeting is free and open to the public. If you desire lunch, order from the menu in the cafeteria and it will be delivered to your table.
