Silver City –Silver Schools Fall Break is will be October 16-20.
The Teen and Children’s programming is made possible by the Friends of the Library.
 
Tuesday, October 17 at 4pm, the Southwest Women’s Fiber Arts Collective will be teaching kids how to make paper pumpkins. “These great ladies come in and do a different craft every other month. This one is just in time for fall.” said Abigail Kipp, Youth Librarian. 

Thursday, October 19 at 4pm, we will be having squishy circuits. Come play with conductive dough and make LEDs light up or control a game on Makey-Makey. We will also have Little Bits which connect to power things like lights and fans.

Friday, October 20 at 2pm, we will be having a teen party. Come hang out in the teen room. There will be food and video games. Come spend time getting to know each other.

Finally, we have Fiddling Friends coming in.Listen to this amazing kids play music. Saturday, October 21 at 2pm.
 
Other ongoing, weekly events offered by the Library include:
·      Babytime Tuesdays at 10:00 am. Stories, songs, rhymes and movement for infants 0-24 months and their caregivers. Made possible by Imagination Library; and
·      Storytime Wednesdays at 10:00 am. Stories, songs, and rhymes for children up to five years of age and their caregivers.
