Bayard Police Department

Monday, Sept. 25

Unwanted subject
Advised her son and another named subject are threatening to take her pedal bike. Deputy advised both subjects left property with bike.

Criminal damage to property
Grant Street
Neighbor broke light and camera and has been yelling at their dog. Deputy advised this is an ongoing issue that BPD is already working on.

Hot pursuit
Vanadium and Orchard streets
Male in a black hoodie ran and is in a yard. Officers advised out at an Orchard Street address/clear from location.

Reckless driver
East and Coffey streets
Young kids driving a white GMC SUV/doesn’t think driver is in middle school. Officer out at an East Street address/made contact with (redacted).

Unwanted subject
Bayard Little League
Male causing issues/was thrown out of the game. Officer issued the named male an indefinite CTW for the Little League fields.

Wednesday, Sept. 27

Welfare check
Highway 180
Black vehicle on side of the road with lights flashing/driver with head tilted lying to the side. Officer made contact with vehicle.

Larceny
Poplar Street and Central Avenue
Officer advised battery stolen out of a compressor last night.

Snell Middle School
Caller advised her son was involved in another fight with the same boy he has been having issues with.

Caller advised she was involved in a fight with a named female who is the girlfriend of a co-worker/caller left and is home now.

Injuring/tampering with motor vehicle

Caller advised one of his work trucks was vandalized last night/it was seen unvandalized yesterday around 6 p.m.

Second caller advising her brother is drunk and taking pills/caller’s mother is there and brother is being very aggressive with her. Third female caller/open line/plotting at this address.

Fight
Main street – 10:48 p.m.
Can see 5-6 kids fighting in the middle of the street/not letting cars pass. Deputy advised no Bayard PD unit on duty/observed a male walking south on Main Street with a large laceration to his right shin and . . .

Arizona Avenue – 1:44 a.m.
Officer with one male in unit en route to Arenas Valley/out at the RDA trailer park.

Wednesday, Sept. 27

Disturbance
Arizona Street – 2:42 a.m.
Can hear son yelling in the background. Caller saying he is destroying stuff inside the house. Son was throwing things at caller and husband/son is inside the house/caller and husband are waiting outside for LE. Caller advised she and her husband were asleep when the son came out of his room “acting wild.”

Thursday, Sept. 28

Disturbance
Arizona Avenue – 12:32 a.m.
Son was tearing apart the whole house/he is now locked outside the house. Caller believes if he gets inside things will get physical. LE advised son left prior to arrival.

Domestic disturbance
Arizona Avenue – 4:50 p.m.
Caller advised her son is breaking things and destroying the house/he is calling her names/he is pacing back and forth and she believes he wants to hit her/caller and husband are going outside/son is leaving/he said he is going to come back and kill caller and husband.

Caller advised her daughter just took her 3-year-old son from her/daughter is upset with caller who takes care of the little boy. Caller advised daughter is known to abuse drugs/she left “up the hill.” Officers advised clear from address/attempting to locate the daughter.

Fraud/embezzlement
Cleveland Street
Caller advising her identity was stolen/someone in Florida is using her SS number for working purposes/she was notified that her Medicaid was canceled due to this issue.
