JoelleVallesJoelle Valles will be the Rotary speaker on October 17, 2023. Valles is a Silver High School sophomore whose topic will be: “Educational Taste of an Italy Tour.” Valles will be one of 15 students in the Silver High Pro Start club, travelling to Italy in May, 2024.  

The Pro Start Program is a two year program designed to teach high school students culinary and management skills needed for a career in the restaurant and food service industry. The Pro Start students will be learning many skills needed for a culinary career as well as sampling and enjoying the tastes of Italian food.Valles has other interests eg: tennis, cross country competition and maintaining her honor roll status.


The Rotary meeting will be held at the Silver Bowling Center - Ten Pin Lounge at 2020 Memory Lane, Silver City from 12-1 p.m. The meeting is free and open to the public. If you desire lunch, order from the menu in the cafeteria and it will be delivered to your table.
