Silver City – Thanksgiving is right around the corner. And with November comes new teen and children’s programming.  The Teen and Children’s programming is made possible by the Friends of the Library.
 
We have most of our programming on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

First thing, we have Robots on Thursday November 2 at 4pm. Build robots from scratch using LEGO Mindstorm. Then program a robot using block coding. Or use an OZO bot to follow a line you drew.

Next, we have a Saturday movie on November 4 at 1pm. This one is about a little robot saving humanity and finding love. There will be popcorn.

On November 7 at 4pm, we will have a Future Engineers meeting. Come play with LEGO. Build whole new worlds and go on adventures with your imagination. Calling all teens.

On November 14 at 4pm, we will be having another teen hangout. Come play games and have some food. This will be in the teen room.

Thursday, November 16 at 4pm, we will have a Minecraft Club meeting. Come explore Realms and go on adventures in Minecraft. Come play board games with us.

November 21 at 4pm. We have an assortment of games to choose from or you can bring your own.

Finally, we have another movie. On November 28 at 4pm, we will be showing a Spider-Man movie. Come meet Miles Morales and learn what it means to be a hero. There will be popcorn.
 
Other ongoing, weekly events offered by the Library include:
·      Babytime Tuesdays at 10:00 am. Stories, songs, rhymes and movement for infants 0-24 months and their caregivers. Made possible by Imagination Library; and
·      Storytime Wednesdays at 10:00 am. Stories, songs, and rhymes for children up to five years of age and their caregivers.
