SILVER CITY, NM — Silver City MainStreet Project is excited to announce November's Kick-Ass Entrepreneurs — Silver City (KAE-SC) Story Time featuring Power and Light Press. The Entrepreneur Story Time will take place at Power and Light Press, 601 N Bullard St, in downtown Silver City on Wednesday, November 8 at 5:30 pm. The event is free and open to the public.
Join Silver City MainStreet Project for Story Time and learn about how the tenacious Kyle Durrie, of Power and Light Press, became a Kick-Ass Entrepreneur! You won’t want to miss this highly requested story on November 8!
Power and Light Press is, “a ship-shape print shop built to handle all of life’s messy emotions. Ever since we flipped the switch on in 2009, our cards have been designed, printed, and packaged in-house, meaning each and every piece has come straight from our own blood, sweat, and tears. Metaphorically. For the most part. We are fueled by a small fleet of letterpress printers (ok just two of us) with clean hands and filthy mouths: a couple of real class acts who like making real-ass things. Because at Power and Light Press, we aren’t afraid to get a little dirty now and then.”

Join us at Power and Light Press on Wednesday, November 8 for the chance to hear more of Kyle’s story of her entrepreneur journey! Plan to arrive at 5:30 PM to enjoy snacks and non-alcoholic drinks and to schmooze with new and old friends before we kick-off Story Time at 6:00 PM.
KAE-SC provides entrepreneurs of all ages and stages, across all industries, and throughout Grant County the opportunity to share their stories with an engaged audience of local fans, curious community members, and potential partners. Entrepreneurs share the inside story, including what worked for them and what resources and people helped them along the way. Each month the approximately two-hour event is hosted at different venues providing the hosts the opportunity to share their stories, as well.
Everyone is welcome at KAE-SC. The fun, social format provides attendees with the opportunity to mingle, network, and meet new friends with similar interests. The events are a great way to learn about local businesses and enjoy different host businesses.
