Staff will not be available to serve customers.
SILVER CITY, NM, October 27, 2023 – The Reserve Ranger District will be closed Monday, October 30 due to unavailability of staff to cover front desk duties.

“Customer service is one of the most important things we provide at the Reserve Ranger District,” said Acting Reserve District Ranger Jessica Maddra. “I look forward to the day when our front desk is fully staffed so that we can minimize these kinds of regretful disruptions to service.”

Maps, passes, and permits are available on Monday from the Quemado Ranger District located at 3 Lyle Loop in Quemado, or Glenwood Ranger District located at Highway 180 S, 18 Ranger Station Road in Glenwood. Normal services will resume at the Reserve Ranger District on Tuesday, October 31. Those who have business to conduct with the Reserve Ranger District should hold their visit until Tuesday or later in the week.
