Jason Dea West - poet, songwriter and troubadour
folk, country & western, traditional and alternative
Music: 7:30pm
Jason Dea West is an American troubadour who sings what he lives and lives what he sings. West’s poignant lyrics are brilliantly blended with vintage country, folk and blues, and timely sensibilities. From epic guitar and harmonica instrumentals to humorous song as story, Jason never strays very far from the anarchic punk-folk roots of his beloved former band, Barefoot
Surrender and his celebrated current band, Intuitive Compass. His live “Magnolia Session” via Anti-Corp Records of Nashville, TN placed #15 on the Billboard Bluegrass charts in October 2020.  “Jason belongs to the wild lands and what is left of the American countryside… He’s the Troubadours Troubadour” ~ Paul Weir of Flam Chen

Dani-Rae Clark & The Let Downs
With Red McAdam and Rena Vee
Americana
Music: 7:30pm
Three performances! Dani-Rae Clark & The Let Downs is a queer country band born in Vancouver BC, now based in Nashville, TN. Dani-Rae's music is deeply inspired by the country, folk and soul idols of the 40's, 50s and 60's. From murder ballad to love song to euphoric escape song, Dani-Rae is linking old narratives to the current events that weigh on our hearts today. Dani-Rae plays all original songs on guitar backed with a lap steel player with supporting vocal melodies that will leave you haunted. Dani-Rae tells a gritty, thought provoking, and heart-wrenching story. You’ll either be cryin’ or dancin’, but you can bet you’ll be holdin’ on to somebody. ~(NPR Music)
