Reckless driver
Highway 180 – Santa Clara
Semi between Santa Clara and Bayard driving at a high rate of speed/ran the stop light and ran caller off the road. XCPD officer advised semi was not recklessly driving and driving at a normal rate of speed. BPD officer followed vehicle to Highway 180 E. – everything is okay.

Suspicious vehicle
Mi Ranchito Food/Tortilla – Central Avenue
Officer advised juvi was in back of location trying to take pallets.

Saturday, Jan. 13

Harassment
Snell Middle School
Caller is having ongoing issues with her family/her sister kept calling caller's children to her and to go outside/caller is still at the school. LE requested (redacted) to stop contacting caller and her children.

Weapons fired
Steyskal and Royal streets
Unknown where it came from/possibly on Royal/heard about nine shots. Second caller stated she thinks the shots came from a Lusk Street address. Third caller believed it came from Lusk/believes she heard six shots. Deputy spoke to (redacted) in the area/they didn't hear anything.

Domestic disturbance
Orchard Street
A named male is accusing caller of taking her(?) phone/it was just physical/he just hit her/he is trying to break a window to her car/he punched her in the chest/he has been drinking and has a bottle of alcohol. XCPD officer ATL in the area.

Unwanted subject
Diamond Street
Caller advised a male in a black jacket was following her grandchild. Deputy advised there is a male with a head wound/have ambulance stand by/mid 30s/small laceration left eyebrow/request ambulance. 2x BFD with no response.

Welfare check
Bayard Post Office
Caller advised someone might have tried to siphon gas/male at (redacted's) house with gas can.

Hurley Police Department

Shooting
D Street
Advised eight shots fired/male child shot in the face/black Dodge pickup was leaving the area/a subject in blue clothing running from the area/male wearing brown pants and blue jeans heading west toward E Street.

Welfare check
E Street
Blue trailer/welcheck on kids/cannot get a hold of the mother of the kids – a 1-year-old, a 3-year-old, and a 7-month-old. Deputy made contact/everything is okay.

Unwanted subject
Santa Rita Avenue
Caller states he doesn't feel comfortable with his mother's ex-boyfriend/he just left but caller still wants to speak with LE and wants a CTW issued.

Domestic disturbance
Salud Street
Father is acting "crazy" and has a knife/he is trying to hurt himself as well/he is intoxicated. Officer advised one in custody/call dispositioned to NMSP.

Sunday, Jan. 14

Shoplifting
11988 Highway 180
Caller advising a subject shoplifted from the store/he has them on video/subject is no longer there. Officer advised they wanted a CTW issued but subject was unidentifiable.

Domestic disturbance
Prescott Street – 11:05 p.m.
Caller advised her neighbors are fighting and it sounds physical.

Disturbance
Prescott Street – 11:47 p.m.
Caller advised male stated he had a gun and began throwing rocks at her front door/caller is inside her home at this time. Caller advised other parties live across the street and they are intoxicated. Officer advised both parties will stay separate for the night.
