ArtSteinbergJanuary 28, at 10 am, 3845 North Swan Street –  “The Immortal Diamond in the Divine Mirror”

Connie Thibeau-Catsis, Ph.D., will talk about the idea of a divine mirror receiving and reflecting the ideas of moving beyond life fears into love and joyfulness. The talk references Richard Rohr’s book, The Immortal Diamond, as well as life experiences of picking
up fearful issues and practices of letting them go.

Thibeau-Catis has spoken several times at the Unitarian-Universalist Fellowship since retiring from Arizona State University where she was a professor in the College of Architecture and Environmental Design. Her research area concerns creativity and well-being in university environments and its influence on self-actualization across the lifespan.

There are speakers on the patio if you wish to listen to the service outside.

Childcare is available on second and fourth Sundays. Parents are invited to bring children 3-12 years old to play and participate in activities led by 10th grader Ivy Stephens-Etheridge.

UUFSC Safety Protocol as pursuant to our most recent UUA Guidelines:

Masks are now optional, but their use is encouraged. We will continue to serve refreshments on the patio and in the building. Visitors are always welcome.
