Visit the Silver City Food Co-op’s table at Spring into Health: Annual Health Fair on April 4 from noon-5 pm at the Intramural Gym at WNMU. The Annual Health Fair is coordinated by the students of the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program at WNMU. It’s a venue for community health care providers, individuals and businesses to come together to promote health and well being. It is free and open to everyone.

The Silver City Food Co-op’s April Community Forum is all about GREEN DRINKS: recipes to energize and alkalize. The Forum is presented twice, Tuesday, April 9 and Thursday, April 11 from noon-1pm in the Co-op Community Room, behind the Co-op storefront. All community forums are free and open to everyone. The Silver City Food Co-op will hold its General Membership Meeting on Wednesday, April 24th from 5:30-8pm at the Church of Harmony, on the corner of 7th Street and Arizona. Everyone is invited to join an informative and exciting discussion about the state of the Co-op, GMOs, local food networking, and visions of the Co-op’s future. Enter a drawing for Co-op goodies! The third annual Home & Garden Expo will be held at the Grant County Conference Center Saturday and Sunday, April 27 and 28. Attend gardening workshops, kids’ gardening activities, and the Silver City Food Co-op’s annual seed share. Enjoy music by local artists, lunch and refreshments, and enter a raffle to win prizes.
