Washington, D.C. - Power The Future released the following statement in response to Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm’s comments today from the White House:

“American families deserve more than the desperate deflection being offered by the Biden Administration, and that’s not a reference to questions about mishandling classified information,” said Larry Behrens, Communications Director for Power The Future. “Long before we had heard of the Penn Biden Center, President Biden’s legacy was delivering the highest gas prices in generations and the worst inflation since the 1980s. Every American knows that gas prices are dramatically higher than when President Biden first took office, yet he wants to continue to use our strategic petroleum reserve as his own political damage control. The meaningful way to lowering gas prices is by unleashing domestic energy production, something Biden can never do because it will offend his far left eco-base.”

Power The Future is a 501c4 non-profit dedicated to fighting for American energy workers.
