Legislation Eliminates President Biden’s Natural Gas Tax

Washington, D.C. - The debt ceiling bill passed out of the House of Representatives on Wednesday contains key energy provisions including the elimination of the natural gas tax. The “Limit, Save, Grow” Act repeals many of the worst climate mandates contained in the Inflation Reduction Act that would raise costs on American families. According to the Biden Administration, more than 1 out of 5 American households are already having trouble paying their energy bills.

“Speaker McCarthy and the House Republican caucus deserve tremendous credit for passing this legislation that repeals the harmful natural gas tax,” said Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director of Power The Future. "Instead of trying to turn our tanks into EVs, President Biden must stop obstructing and come to the table to address his out-of-control spending that is fueling his failed climate agenda.
