Iran Oil Exports Significantly Higher Under Biden

Washington, D.C. - As the world watches the devastating terror attacks in Israel, Power the Future is calling on the Biden Administration to stop ignoring sanctions on Iranian oil. After the attacks unfolded today, an advisor to Iran’s supreme leader expressed support for the terrorist onslaught and the Israeli Prime Minister declared “we are at war.” At the same time, relaxed enforcement from the Biden Administration on Iranian oil sanctions have allowed Iran to profit off of oil exports at ever increasing levels.

“There is no doubt Joe Biden looking other the way at Iranian oil exports helps finance these terrorist attacks,” said Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power the Future. “The trail of Biden’s failure is simple: his fight against American energy drove up prices and instead of utilizing domestic production, his administration prioritized world oil supply favoring OPEC and turning a blind eye to Iranian production. Last year was a record year for Iran’s oil industry, but not American energy. For years we sounded the warning that Biden’s energy policies would have terrible consequences and we continue to learn the awful cost of his failure.
