Albuquerque – For the third year in a row, New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham is traveling to the United Nations annual climate summit. This year’s summit is being held in the United Arab Emirates, home to the world’s seventh largest supply of oil and gas.  The Governor’s press release did not disclose if New Mexico’s taxpayers are funding her way to the annual junket. In response, Larry Behrens, Communications Director for Power The Future issued the following statement:

“If Zoom was a perfectly acceptable way for New Mexico’s children to learn for more than a year, it begs the question why it doesn’t suffice for a climate junket halfway around the world. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that Lujan Grisham is willing to emit countless CO2 emissions for international travel in order to to rub elbows with the Biden Administration and eco-left funders since the only thing she cares about more than her extreme green agenda is landing her next plush job.”
