A recent poll conducted by Rasmussen and the Heartland Institute found widespread support among Democrat voters for discriminating against those that have not gotten a COVID-19 shot or question the efficacy or safety of these shots. This includes forced home arrest, putting them in camps, or sending them to jail. It also included removing children from their homes. Canada has already passed a law that will put people in jail for exercising their right to free speech and administering mental health care to transgenders. Quebec passed a law that says those who have not been vaccinated or have not received the booster must stay home. Further, they can go to a store but must be accompanied by a health warden who will ensure that they only purchase prescription drugs and food necessities. They cannot purchase cleaning supplies, light bulbs, clothing or anything else.

This might sound to some of you like Nazi Germany or communist China. You would be correct in making that comparison. Germans, prior to Nazi takeover of the government, were already having serious discussions about and implementing programs that would help to rebuild their population which was devastated by World War I. This included discussions about health and racial purity and the need to have a healthy population. The Nazis only took this discussion further and built upon policies that were already in place. But understand similar discussions were happening in America, Great Britain, and other countries around the world.

One of the policies that was implemented was the issuance of a health card, or a gesundheitspass. The Nazis turned much of their focus to racial purity, and we know how that turned out. But this health card would also indicate that you did not have genetic predisposition to certain conditions such as Downs Syndrome or birth defects. Doctors would also consider the genetic history of your ancestors in determining if you had a genetic predisposition to be less than ideal mentally, emotionally or physically. Hey history of alcoholism or drug abuse in your lifetime or that of your family would prevent you from being issued the health card.

Tuberculosis, venereal diseases, a history of illnesses that were frequent, such as catching the flu, were also considered to be undesirable traits for a healthy population. These people were also denied the issuance of a health card.

If you were lucky enough to meet the criteria, or you knew the right persons who would waive some of the requirements, you could get your card which would allow you to enroll your children in certain schools where they could be indoctrinated. There were neighborhoods where you could get nice homes and ensure that you lived around the right people who would not endanger your health. You were allowed to take vacations in certain places that others were prevented from visiting. There were even stores that allowed you to shop there but if you didn't have the health card you were kept out.

Does that sound familiar? If you are younger this will not sound familiar because you we're not taught history with the express purpose of allowing those in power to be able to repeat that which we found abhorrent in the past. You will not believe that your government can engage in such activities because you have been told, not just in school, but in your television programs or reading material that the government is trustworthy and only has your best interests at heart. You have been taught that questioning anything is an act of insurrection and should be silenced.

Because those in control of information can not only change words to have different meanings but can now actively silence their critics and political opponents, it is much more important that each of us who value the principles upon which this nation were founded, continue to speak out. Some of us have a public platform many do not. But you can speak to friends and family, or you can take 5 minutes a week to write an email to our elected officials and express your opinions. You can get involved with the school board and our local governments by attending the meetings and letting them know they are overstepping their authority that we have given them. Our failure to do so will mean that the world we leave our children and grandchildren will be that of Russia and China.
