New Programs "Deferred" Due To Opposition From Southwest New Mexicans

President Joe Biden
Updates On Labor Day Initiatives
Part Three

President Joseph (Joe) Biden had planned to use Labor Day as the occasion to announce two initiatives to create jobs within the United States Postal Service (USPS). He has decided not to proceed with the announcements.

Only Nuacht Aoir – through dogged reporting – detailed the plans of the Administration prior to any public announcement by The White House.

The President was not pleased, according to two Presidential aides who used language – let us say "colorful" language – in telephone communications with Nuacht Aoir.

To say the Presidential aides were outraged would be to minimize their statements.

They noted that the reactions to the reporting by Nuacht Aoir from local residents in southwestern New Mexico – especially ones in Hidalgo County – were swift and unfavorable to President Biden.

Because of those responses, the Presidential aides stated that President Biden re-considered and then canceled his announcement of the two planned initiatives.

Nuacht Aoir had found out that President Biden intended to announce a new service through the USPS – the "We Read Your Mail For You" Program. Through this new service, postal workers would open a person's mail and then text the recipients the contents. The first ten texts were free. Additional texts would be billed at 50 cents each with an additional $1 for each individual photo.

It was noted that while the Federal government cannot – officially acknowledge – that it reads a person's mail without specific legal permission, once an individual gives the USPS to transcribe that individual's mail into a text, the Federal government would be able to – officially – read the texts and view any photos without any further legal permissions required.

Nuacht Aoir also found out the President intended to announce the re-introduction of Parcel Post – to be dubbed "Parcel Post For The 21st Century" Program – through the USPS. Though that service name ("Parcel Post") was removed in 2013 – during the Administration of President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden – President Biden was to announce that the name was coming back for a service more in common with the initial Parcel Post offered by the U S Post Office in 1913.

It was noted that the "Parcel Post For The 21st Century" Program would allow people to mail living creatures under the age of 120 years of age and weighing no more than 500 pounds. While the Presidential announcement did not acknowledge any links, Nuacht Aoir found that new postal facilities were to be built in select locations along the border between the U S and Mexico. Nuacht Aoir also found a printing shop had been awarded a no-bid contract to create posters in select languages announcing the new Parcel Post service; the posters were to be sent to select countries for display in public areas and on public transit.

One of the Presidential aides regained their composure prior to issuing a written statement to Nuacht Aoir.

(Though we are unable to confirm exactly what was in the green-colored "milk shake" that the specific Presidential aide was seen drinking prior to writing their statement, we were told that the second Presidential aide indicated that someone had to use the "substance" found in the "cubbyhole." We're not at all sure what the "substance" was or what "cubbyhole" was being referred to in this situation.)

"We are outraged by the responses from residents in southwestern New Mexico," said the aide to President Biden. "The premature release of the planned Labor Day speech by our Great Leader is another example of the disregard for democracy by Nuacht Aoir."

"We have – again – formally expressed our displeasure with The Grant County Beat for printing such information without first securing permission from the Administration," the Presidential aide continued. "It appears that The Grant County Beat does not comprehend the displeasure of the Biden/Harris Administration."

Nuacht Aoir will not be intimidated by such comments.

Among local residents, one in Silver City stated that "The idea that the Biden Administration intended to read the postal mail of American citizens is something that would be implemented by Iranian officials – not officials here in the U S."

A Lordsburg resident expressed her own outrage at the idea that the Biden Administration was going to use a new program of the USPS to deliver babies within the boundaries of the U S as subterfuge to transport migrants into the U S: "Hidalgo County residents will not stand by as new distribution facilities are built along the border to move migrants into select Congressional districts throughout the U S."

The second Presidential aide expressed their defiance in written comments to Nuacht Aoir.

"President Biden intends to eventually implement the new 'Parcel Post For The 21st Century' Program as well as the 'We Read Your Mail For You' Program," according to the Presidential aide. "Our Administration fully intends to follow the leadership exhibited by a top military official that served during the Presidency of Gerald Ford, a Republican."

This aide was referencing a speech made by a top military official in 1976:

"If any citizen of this country is so concerned about his mail being read or is concerned about his presence in a meeting being noted, I'd say we ought to read his mail and we ought to know what the hell he has done."

After gulping down another tall glass of the green-colored "milk shake," the second Presidential aide stated that "The Biden/Harris Administration will not be dissuaded by the uninformed views of a few small towns and rural communities in southwestern New Mexico."

"As we have stated previously, the Federal government dealt swiftly with people in that region decades ago," the Presidential aide continued. "Don't those New Mexico folks ever learn that those that disagree with our Great Leader – President Joe Biden – will face the consequences of their transgressions. While the Administration is deferring these two programs right now, we will proceed with full implementation at a time of our choosing – not because of the whims of people in Catron, Grant, Hidalgo, and Luna Counties."
