LEGAL NOTICE

The Bayard City Council will conduct work sessions at 1:30 p.m. and regular meetings at 2:00 p.m. at the Bayard City Hall, 800 Central Avenue, Bayard, NM 88023 on the following listed dates for the 2021 year:

Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Emergency declared by Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham and the limits on the number of persons gathering, except for essential functions, the meeting will be a virtual public meeting open to the public with the combination of attendance of Council members in person and by virtual attendance via Zoom. The agenda for this meeting may be altered up to seventy-two (72) hours prior to each meeting; copies can be obtained from the City Clerk's Office or viewed online at www.cityofbayardnm.com.

Public input will be via email and comments must be submitted prior to the meeting. Comments may be emailed to cityclerk@cityofbayardnm.com with Public Comment Date XXXX, noted in the subject line.Registration is required for those individuals wishing to utilize the Zoom application. The registration links for each meeting will be published/posted prior to the meeting. You may also contact the Bayard City Hall to obtain the links.

Items on the agenda relate to old and new business matters. A copy of the Agenda in its entirety may be obtained at the City Hall Administrative Office during regular business hours by the Friday before the scheduled meeting date. Closed Executive Session will be held pursuant to State Statutes 10-15-1 (H-2 and H-8) NMSA 1978 for personnel.

If you are an individual with a disability who is in need of a reader, amplifier, qualified sign language interpreter, or any other form of auxiliary aid or service to attend or participate in the hearing or meeting, please contact the city clerk at 800 Central Avenue (537-3327) at least one week prior to the meeting or as soon as possible.
