LEGAL NOTICE

The Town of Silver City Council will hold their Regular Council Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at 6 p.m. at the Grant County Administration Center, 1400 Hwy. 180 East, Silver City, New Mexico. The public is invited to attend. The agenda will include:
Approval of Minutes: Regular Meeting – June 14, 2022
Reports:

B. Current and Proposed Swimming Pool
C. Gough Park
D. City Hall
E. Scott Park Golf Course
F. Ridge Road
Public Hearing - Approval/Disapproval of a Restaurant Beer and Wine Liquor License with On Premises Consumption Only with Sunday Sales by the Drink. License Application No. 1227413, Applicant Name: Empire Buffet of Silver City, DBA W & Z Asian Bistro and Sushi Bar, Silver City, NM. Proposed Location: 1740 Highway 180 East, Silver City, NM 88061.
New Business:
A. Approval / Disapproval of an Agreement between the Town of Silver City and American
Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Council No. 18, Local No.
3370, from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2025. The Council may go into Closed Session pursuant to
NMSA 1978 Section 10-15-1(H)(5) for the discussion of bargaining strategy preliminary to
collective bargaining negotiations.
B. Approval / Disapproval of an Agreement between the Town of Silver City and Local 2430,
International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) AFL-CIO, from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2025.
The Council may go into Closed Session pursuant to NMSA 1978 Section 10-15-1(H)(5) for the
discussion of bargaining strategy preliminary to collective bargaining negotiations.
