A. Approval / Disapproval of Affirmation of Local Board, as required by State of New Mexico
Public Employees Bargaining Act Section 10-7E-10D(1).
B. Approval / Disapproval of Resolution 2023-25: A Resolution Amending the Approved and Adopted Budget for the Fiscal Year Commencing July 1, 2023 Through June 30, 2024 and for Municipal Purpose in the Town of Silver City, New Mexico, Transferring and Appropriating Funds Thereof.
C. Approval / Disapproval of Resolution 2023-26: a Resolution Authorizing the Execution and Delivery of a Colonias Infrastructure Project Fund Loan/grant Agreement by and Between the New Mexico Finance Authority (“nmfa,” or the “lender/grantor”) and the Town of Silver City, New Mexico (the “borrower/grantee”), for the Benefit of the Designated Colonia of Silver City North Hurley, Vanadium, Hanover, Fierro, Santa Clara, Arenas Valley, Rosedale, Bayard, and Tyrone, in the Total Amount of Three Million Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($3,300,000), Evidencing an Obligation of the Borrower/grantee to Utilize the Loan/grant Amount Solely for the Purpose of Financing the Costs of the Design of a Regional Water Project for a Secondary Water Supply, and Solely in the Manner Described in the Loan/grant Agreement; Providing for the Pledge and Payment of the Loan Amount of Three Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($330,000) Solely From the Net System Revenues of the Joint Water and Wastewater System of the Borrower/grantee and Acceptance of a Grant Amount of Two Million Nine Hundred Seventy Dollars ($2,970,000); Certifying That the Loan/grant Amount, Together With Other Funds Available to the Borrower/grantee, is Sufficient to Complete the Project; Approving the Form of and Other Details Concerning the Loan/grant Agreement; Ratifying Actions Heretofore Taken; Repealing All Action Inconsistent With This Resolution; and Authorizing the Taking of Other Actions in Connection With the Execution and Delivery of the Loan/grant Agreement.
