Dear Editor:

I am writing this letter in support of Rep. Rebecca Dow for the 38th District of New Mexico House of Representatives. My two small children were victims and witnesses in a criminal trial. I approached several legislators about changing the way children testify in New Mexico. This is a dark and archaic practice that must be changed. Rep. Dow responded to my plea. Child sex abuse is not a partisan issue. Rep. Dow stands up for the most vulnerable New Mexicans.
