Several hundred students from various schools in the region, including from Silver City, Bayard, Santa Clara, San Lorenzo and Lordsburg, traveled to Fort Bayard on Friday to learn about the history of the fort and of the area. Activities at the various booths kept the students entertained and informed throughout the day.
