The latest mural in the Mimbres Region Arts Council (MRAC) Youth Mural Program was dedicated in Penny Park at noon on Friday, June 27, 2014. Family and friends were on hand to cheer the campers and admire the fiery dragon mural.
This year's mural program was sponsored by the Town of Silver City, Syzygy Tileworks, Prudential Silver City Properties, Morning Star, Finishing Touch, J&J Signs, and Leyba & Ingalls ARTS. Additional funding was provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, New Mexico Arts and JoyGlobal, and post-dedication pizza was provided by Domino's.
