Kingston, New Mexico: The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) will be assisting the US Forest Service with traffic control as maintenance crews work with re-seeding and mulching of various areas along NM-152.

The NMDOT will have NM-152 CLOSED from mile marker 22 to 39.2 as heavy equipment and aerial seeding will be performed as the Forest Service places large bails of straw for re-vegetation.

The NMDOT will have this closure in place starting Tuesday, July 23rd at 6:00 a.m. and will not be lifted until Monday, August 5th at 6:00 p.m.  This closure is necessary in order to protect the traveling public as large equipment will be moving in and out of areas.

Updates and traffic alerts will be posted on the department’s web site www.NMroads.com, and may be retrieved by calling 511 in New Mexico or 1-800-432-4269 out of state.
