Sam Lowry, Grant County 4-H agent, said 12 senior 4-H members were vying Saturday morning at the Grant County Shooting Range to qualify to go to the state contest, which will be held the first weekend in May in Raton.
Shooting sports included in the contest will be shotgun, archery, .22 rifle and hunting teams that will represent Grant County at the state 4-H contest..
