The Chihuahua Hill neighborhood of Silver City experienced a power outage for approximately 7 hours between the hours of 8 pm and 4 am Thursday night, Sept. 29.

Residents of Silver Acres, who received a Reverse-911 call, told the Beat that a power line was down at the intersection of Hwy. 90 and Ridge Road, and that the intersection was closed to traffic until the power was restored.

Power was restored to the area at approximately 4 am Friday morning. However, at the time of this writing, early Friday morning, Comcast TV and internet services remain unavailable with no projected time of restoration.
