Photographer Dave Schuhmann, on his trip to Fort Bayard on Friday, said a lot of debris remains and a little bit of demolition. Lots of scrap steel to recycle, too. The wall to the old surgical wing is gone, and almost all of the Wing B basement wall is gone.
