Synopsis:          Scorpion Micro DV-Video/Audio Recorder

Narrative:

            Officers of the Silver City Police Department have recently been issued the Scorpion Micro DV-Video/Audio Recorder for use while on duty.

            Chief Reynolds states “The Scorpion Micro DV-Video/Audio Recorder has a unique ultra small and compact design that can be used in many recording situations. The Scorpion Micro DV is the smallest digital video camera in the world.”

            Chief Reynolds continued “because of the size of the Scorpion, it can be clipped to your shirt pocket, lapel or belt. The Scorpion video and audio recordings are date and time stamped which will assist officers in their presentation of evidence during court proceedings.”

            “Prior to the Scorpion being assigned to officers they received training on proper usage of the Scorpion Micro DV as well as the Departmental Policy on its use” Chief Reynolds Stated.
