The 2016 Homecoming Week at Western New Mexico University in Silver City was held September 29 - October 1. One highlight of Saturday, October 1 was the Homecoming Parade'commencing at the Grant County Courthouse at 10 a.m., travelling down Broadway Street, along Bullard Street and up College Avenue to the WNMU Campus. The following photographs provide an appreciation of this year's Homecoming Parade.

Gladys Swan, a 2016 WNMU Distinguished Alumni Award recipient, and Marshall Moore, President of the Grant County Chapter of WNMU Alumni. Ms. Swan has written several novels, including her "New Mexico Trilogy" for which much of the material came from the Silver City area.
