A white 1989 GMC pickup driven by Jason Chavez, 24, of Reserve, was traveling south on Box Canyon Road on Sunday, Feb. 8, when it left the roadway at MM 3 near Cliff and flipped onto its left side.According to a Grant County Sheriff’s Office crash report, a deputy arrived on scene at approximately 12:55 a.m. and found the driver out of the vehicle. The driver told the deputy he fell asleep and the next thing he knew he was on the side of the road. The report also stated the driver advised he was able to crawl out the driver’s side window and had sustained moderate injuries to his hands and face.
