Girl Scouts of the Desert Southwest is offering a workshop titled Being a Friend. If you are a girl entering Kindergarten thru the 6th grade, and are new to the area, anxious about starting a new grade, nervous about going to a new school then this workshop is for you. Learn how to be a good friend and how to make and keep a friend. It will be on August 3rd at the Girl Scout Office, 302 West 11th Street, in Silver City from 10-12 and is free of charge.
