The Ag Days Degree Program is a new intensive learning opportunity for anyone interested in refreshing or expanding their knowledge base in animal agriculture and resource management. The goal is to provide a progressive series of courses related to Animal Sciences, Natural Resources, and Ag Economics. The program runs on September 6 & 7 on the New Mexico State University Las Cruces Campus, and will provide both an animal science track and a natural resources/economics track.

These short courses will allow attendees, NMSU faculty, staff, and students to interact and learn from one another. The animal science track will cover ruminant nutrition, breeding and reproduction issues, as well as disease management. The natural resources/economics track looks at range, forestry and natural resources management issues, as well as ag business issues for the livestock industry.

Anyone may attend. The registration deadline is August 30th. A registration form can be obtained at the Grant County Extension office at 2610 N. Silver Street, you may register online at nmbeef.nmsu.edu, or you may call directly to the university to register at 575-646-3326. The registration cost for both days includes a meal on Friday night and two tickets to the NMSU vs. MN football game on Saturday.
