Carolyn Smith front and Sarah Horton RSThis past summer volunteers built a demonstration hydroponic greenhouse behind the Market Café located at 614 N. Bullard St. The purpose of the greenhouse is to teach our community how to grow food locally and sustainably.

The first demonstration bed is now being harvested weekly to provide some of the lettuce used at the Market Café. Pictured are Carolyn Smith and Sarah Horton of the Market Café.
