Silver City Museum will participate in the Southwest Print Fiesta! with activity for children of all ages at the Museum: creating prints out of Styrofoam, a pencil, and tempera paint. The participants will draw their own unique design in the Styrofoam with a pencil to create a printing plate and then "ink" with tempera paint and roll it over their etching. Every participant will imprint a piece of paper with their drawing which, when dry, they can frame and hang proudly. Materials will be provided and the event is free, though a $5 donation is suggested.
