The SWSS is a livestock association where youths pay dues to be members. There are a series of jackpot livestock shows that are being hosted around the SW part of the state. Youth attend the jackpots for experience showing their animals and to win money. Depending on how well they compete with their animals they get points at each jackpot. The points from 3 livestock shows are used and end of the year awards will be awarded to those youths that did well during the jackpot series.
