Reckless driver
Highway 152 – MM 2
Silver sedan westbound speeding and passed bus in no-passing zone. Deputy went traffic at Highway 180 and Arenas Valley Road/advised the driver to drive safely.

Saturday, Jan. 25

Welfare check
Basalt Drive – 12:45 a.m.
Caller from Lordsburg advised one of their agents has not showed up for work tonight/was to start shift at midnight/they have called several times with negative contact. Deputy advised negative contact/advised caller/unit clear.

Accident-injuries
S. Bellm Street and Caddell Crossing
Deputies advised that a male in a vehicle hit a light pole and is unconscious/male got out of car at this time/inform power company that power pole is leaning over the roadway. Contact with PNM. Deputy advised second subject ran toward cemetery. EMS2 put Native Air on standby. Bayard officer advised S. Mineral/Boulder contact -- is in investigative detention.

Highway 35 – Upper Mimbres
Life Alert press to daughter who advised 71-year-old female has not been answering phone and has a history of falling. Caller advised either the first responders or the alarm company called her advising mother is okay/mother is not home at this time.

Mountain View Drive
Caller was not exactly sure of the address/dispatch pulled it from previous calls involving her sister. Caller said her sister called her just now and she could hear her sister arguing with her 12-year-old son. Deputy has one in investigative detention/everything is okay now.

Domestic disturbance

Caller said, “She is throwing things at me,” and disconnected/attempt to call caller back negative contact. Male called advising the agreement had been reached and they are okay now/nothing was physical. Deputy advised nothing physical/now they are fighting.

A Street – Hurley
Caller advised that her 13-year-old niece is missing and believes her mother took her/caller advised that she has had her niece for over a year/mother may be heading to Las Cruces. Caller called back advising she has power of attorney but it expired.

Dog bite
Country Club Road
Caller advised that she witnessed the German shepherd belonging to a named family jump out of its fence and attack a family. Second caller advised his granddaughter was bit by the dog. 6-year-old female that was bit on the buttocks by the dog/conscious/alert/breathing. Deputy advised dog jumped fence/still trying to catch dog.

Criminal trespass
Mesa Road – Cliff
Caller advised she had a trespasser/they have left/she has had problems with them in the past.
