Caller advised her 97-year-old female cousin has been very ill and has not responded to caller’s letters. Deputy found number for female’s daughter and found the mother is in Silver Care Center, that’s why she’s not . . .

Highway 152 – Santa Rita
Deputy had contact with walk-in who advised she had been in a verbal domestic with her husband last night/he was highly intoxicated/she left with her older son and hasn’t been back yet.

A named female didn’t go to work today and didn’t call in. Deputy had contact/everything is okay/refused medical.

Homeless male stumbling in the rain walking west. Deputy had contact advising clear/gave male a ride to Racetrack Road.

Caller advised she contacted JPO re: her son. Deputy en route to meet father at Dollar General in Santa Clara/son was dropped off with his dad.

Tuesday, Feb. 11

Battery
Camino Serna Drive
Caller advised that her brother got upset because she was spanking her child/her brother did hit her.

Dog bite
Rio de Arenas Road
Walk-in wants to report a dog bite that occurred on 2/9/20 at 10:40 a.m. Deputies did respond but parties were being uncooperative and she wants to “give her side of the story.” Deputy had contact with walk-in who advised she was bit by a pit bull at Rio de Arenas as she was attempting to talk to her landlord about a water issue.

Highway 180 – MM 135 (4 miles south of Grant County Airport Road) – 12:30 p.m.
Caller advised he witnessed a red Dodge and a white car slide off the highway/by the mine tailings/negative on injuries. NMSP given the call.

Highway 180 – MM 133 (2 miles south of Grant County Airport Road) – 12:50 p.m.
Caller advised that a white car is pulled off to the side/the vehicle has heavy front and rear end damage/negative on injuries.

Male and female arguing/does sound physical. Deputy had negative contact with anyone in the area.

Wednesday, Feb. 12

Welfare check
Broken Arrow Drive -- Silver Acres
Caller advised that her husband messaged her earlier saying he tried to kill himself by cutting his wrists/he lives in a trailer on the property. Caller called back advising husband is okay and doesn’t want anyone on his property. Deputy spoke with male over the phone/everything is okay.

1401 Tom Foy Blvd. – Bayard
Caller advised that a male walking toward Santa Clara was jumping near the roadway/he may have been trying to avoid water puddles. Deputy had contact with male/everything is okay/he was trying to avoid the water puddles.

Male tried to jump in front of his pickup. Deputy had negative contact.

Male is okay/he was asleep.

Caller advised a female is stopped on the highway/she is out of it and smells like alcohol/he is on his way to work/he is a BP agent/he just stopped to make sure she was okay.

Advised that a street sign has been knocked down. Grant County Road Department was notified. Deputy made contact with a named male who changed out the bolts/no need for road department.

Larceny
Rio de Arenas Road
Whiskey Creek RV Park/caller reports stolen items. Deputy had contact with owner.

Domestic disturbance
Kirkland Road – Arenas Valley
Caller advised that his wife keeps messing with his head/she keeps putting her hand in his face/he did bite her/he was asleep. Female on the phone now stated they do not need LE at the house/she refused medical. Deputies had contact advising everything is okay/all verbal/units clear.
