Silver City MainStreet is working to make downtown welcoming to everyone in our community and have something for children to do downtown. We are starting a pilot program to bring families downtown by offering a free event for them.

We would like to see 5 to 6 different organizations participate in Family Days Downtown by providing a free make-and-take activity. Make and Take tables would offer a 3 to 10 minute project for children and parents. This could be a coloring page, a small craft project, or offering stickers or something children could be creative with.

MainStreet will provide a corn hole toss and hula hoops to play with.

We are also working on a downtown passport for children for the summer.
