Starting Strong

Hello Makers, this week at the Future Forge Makerspace we had many great things happen. First, we are officially a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit! We also had two very successful classes, Introduction to 3D printing, and Lapidary Cutting and Polishing! Participants of these classes left with a better understanding of the complexities of 3D printing and the excitement of fully shaping a stone and taking it home! This week, the 24th through the 1st, we will be hosting two more classes which can be found on our website https://www.thefutureforge.org/ in the "events" section or in the links below:

Laser Cutting and Engraving 101, Thursday at 4 pm - 6 pm

Introduction to 3D Printing, Saturday at 2 pm - 4 pm

Our previous classes filled up quickly, so if you see a class that interests you, don't wait to sign up! The classes have only a one dollar processing fee, although donations are also very appreciated!

Future Forge has had so many awesome volunteers so far that have made a big difference in the Makerspace! From the formation of planning committees to day-to-day maintenance of the space, it takes a village and help goes a long way! If you would like to get more involved with this community project, please let us know! Email us at FutureForgeNM@gmail.com or call us at (575)519-5798 for more information.
