The Gila Visitor Center and the trail the cliff dwellings will be operating on Summer Season hours starting March 1, 2020. The Gila Visitor Center will be open from 8 am until 4:30 pm everyday. The trail to see the cliff dwellings will open starting at 9 am everyday. Visitors must start the trail by 4 pm and all visitors must exit the monument by 5 pm everyday.

The staff at Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument will be leading guided tours of the dwellings in the month of March. On select Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in March tour will be available, generally corresponding with local spring breaks from school.

Rangers will provide 45-minute guided tours of the monument starting at 1 pm. Tours begin at the dwellings, so plan on starting the trail around 12:30 pm to arrive on time. There is no charge for these tours. Tours will take place on the following dates; March 14, 15, 20, 21 and 22. Other tours may occur as staffing permits, please call the Gila Visitor Center for further information.
