Dog bite
Arenas Valley Road – Dragonfly Trail
Got bit by a black and white pit bull on the calf/caller was at home when he called/he was going to seek medical attention. Deputy requested ACO to east side entrance to help remove dog. ACO advised taking dog to shelter.

Welfare check
Highway 90 – MM 34 (7 miles south of Hudson Street Bridge)
Female running into traffic. Deputy out with female/giving her a ride into town.

Disturbance
Rio de Arenas Road
Caller advised that her neighbor is outside yelling and cussing/caller has a CTW on him. While on phone caller was yelling at male advising he was chasing after her daughter’s vehicle as she was trying to leave. Deputy on scene.

Larceny
Flury Lane – Arenas Valley
Package stolen from mailbox.

Shoplifting
11820 Highway 180
Female headed toward Silver/they took candy. Deputy was advised.

Tuesday, May 12

Burglary
Highway 35 – Upper Mimbres
Caller advised her office was broken into/tools and other miscellaneous items were taken/it’s the same person who does it every time/they damaged property. Deputy was advised.

Harassment
Mira Loma Drive – Arenas Valley
Caller advised that his ex-wife is harassing him over email. Deputy made contact with caller/emailed ex-wife and told her not to send any more emails to caller.

Harassment
Burro Springs Road
Caller advised that his neighbor has been harassing him for years. Deputy spoke with caller who advised he watches his neighbor’s property and every time he leaves someone picks the lock on his neighbor’s gate/they don’t steal the lock or take anything and don’t damage the property/he believes someone has been watching him for 20 years.

Camino Verde – Arenas Valley
An older named female showed up at caller’s house and she seems to be confused/made contact with caretaker and husband/does have Alzheimer’s/going to take her in to get checked.

Domestic disturbance
Highway 356 – Hanover
Caller advised the neighbors behind are fighting/it sounds like they are hitting each other. Deputies advised everything is okay/female was dropped off in Bayard.

Welfare check
S. Highway 90
Caller from New Mexico Crisis Line advised has caller on the line who is suicidal/he has already lost count on how much beer he has had to drink/he has gone through a lot of loss recently/just lost a friend.

Larceny
N. Swan Street
Caller believes one of her mules was stolen.

Battery
2069 Cottage San Road
Neighbor hit caller when caller went to retrieve his dog, which had gotten out. Deputy made contact with caller who advised when he retrieved his dog he smacked it on the haunches and his neighbor told him not to do that and poked him in the chest.

Suspicious vehicle
Hitchin’ Post Ridge
Deputies advised that everyone has left.

Thursday, May 14

Loud music
Camino Tolteca – Tyrone
Deputy had negative contact with any loud music. Caller called back advising it’s still going on. Deputy advised music is at a certain space/been knocking on door/no one answered.

Unwanted subject
Cottage San Road
Advised a lady was walking through the property and let the neighbor’s dogs out and just walked away. Deputy will check with homeowner to see if she had permission to let dogs out.

Burglary
Tyrone Post Office
Caller advised that someone broke into the parcel lockers and one package was stolen.

Harassment
Goathead Path – Arenas Valley
Caller advised that a named male is threatening him through Facebook/caller knows him through school. Caller’s mother advised that they have told him to stop and he will not.

Fraud/embezzlement
Highway 35 – Upper Mimbres
Caller advised $3,800 taken from bank using card number through various online shops/has contacted bank and is in the process of contacting each shop.

Welfare check
Highway 180
Caller advised her 45-year-old brother posted on Facebook saying, “My heart goes out to my family and I will always love you.”/he has changed a lot in the last few months/he is very angry now.

Suspicious vehicle
Tyrone Townsite
Unit clear/subject was just dumping trash.
